Belgian Pro League side Cercle Brugge have completed the signing of Nigerian winger Tunde Akinsola from Portuguese club AVS Futebol SAD, CSONews24 reports.
The 23-year-old has signed a contract running until June 2030, with an option for an additional season.
Akinsola, who can play on either wing, is expected to add pace, versatility and attacking depth to Cercle Brugge’s squad.
The club’s technical director, Luciano Murchio, said Akinsola’s ability in one-on-one situations and during quick transitions made him a good fit for the team’s style of play.
Akinsola began his career with Valiant FC in Nigeria before moving to Sweden, where he joined Vasalund. He later continued his development with Spanish side Real Valladolid and made his La Liga debut in 2023.
He moved to AVS Futebol in Portugal in 2024, initially on loan before the transfer became permanent.
His move to Cercle Brugge represents another step in the winger’s European career as he prepares to compete in Belgium’s top flight.
