‘Don’t Disrespect My Staff’: Davido Warns Fan During London Concert

Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, briefly halted his concert in London after allegedly spotting a fan disrespecting a member of his team.

The incident occurred on August 11, 2026, at the O2 Forum Kentish Town, where the singer was performing at his “Oriadé Royal Night” concert, an early showcase featuring songs from his newly released album, Oriadé.

Davido stopped the music and addressed an audience member whom he accused of disrespecting a member of his crew.

“You’re not going to come to my show and disrespect my staff like that,” the singer said while pointing towards the crowd.

He further warned that he would leave the stage if the incident happened again.

“If I see you here one more time, I’m going to walk off the stage,” he said.

Davido also defended his crew, noting that members of his team had worked throughout the day to prepare for the concert.

“These people have been working here all day. Don’t do that,” he added.

A video of the incident, which has since circulated on social media, showed the singer visibly upset as he confronted the audience member.

His decision to interrupt the performance and publicly defend his staff has generated reactions online, with several social media users commending the singer for taking a firm stance.

However, the precise circumstances surrounding the alleged altercation remain unclear, and it was not immediately known whether the fan was subsequently removed from the venue.

The incident briefly disrupted the performance before the concert continued.
