A live television discussion on Friday turned heated as former Ekiti State Commissioner, Lere Olayinka, clashed with journalist and broadcaster Rufai Oseni during an argument over a political issue.
During Friday’s appearance on The Morning Show, Olayinka declined to answer Oseni’s questions, stating a preference for discussing matters with “reasonable human beings.”
The exchange continued briefly before Olayinka made it clear that he was unwilling to proceed with the line of questioning.
The incident has since generated reactions, particularly among viewers and social media users who shared clips of the confrontation.
Olayinka, a former aide to ex-Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State, is known for his outspoken views on political and national issues.
However, Olayinka declined to answer any questions from Rufai Oseni.
“Well, I’m very sorry to say this, Oseni Rufai, I don’t want to answer any question from you. I want to concentrate.
“I want this conversation to be among reasonable human beings, people who will not come and tell, who will not come and describe other people as ‘emudani’”, Olayinka said.
Oseni, who anchors a television programme focused on current affairs, has also built a reputation for engaging political guests on contentious issues.
