A clergyman, Reverend Dachomo, has disclosed that the nine people killed in an attack in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State were members of his family.
Dachomo made the revelation while reacting to the incident, describing the deaths as a painful loss and calling for urgent action to address insecurity in the area.
The victims were reportedly among those killed during an attack attributed to suspected Fulani terrorists, which has heightened concerns over recurring violence and attacks on communities in parts of Plateau State.
The cleric urged authorities to strengthen security measures and ensure the protection of residents, while calling for justice for those affected by the attack.
The incident has renewed calls from community leaders and stakeholders for improved security coordination to prevent further loss of lives in vulnerable communities across the state.
