Tinubu Will Win Imo With My Ticket,” Okorocha Declares
Former Imo State Governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha, has said President Bola Tinubu will win Imo State in the 2027 general elections, crediting his own emergence on the ticket.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Okorocha said Tinubu has done no wrong to any Igbo man. He added that the president’s closest friends in Lagos are Igbos.
“With my emergence now with this ticket, Tinubu will win in Imo State,” he said.
The senator made the remarks during an interview on the programme, where he responded on behalf of the Imo APC ahead of the 2027 polls.
The comments come as political parties begin positioning for the 2027 general elections, with the South-East remaining a key battleground for the ruling party.
