VDM Accuses Adeleke of Being APC Puppet, Says Davido Emotionally Blackmailed Osun Voters

Social media activist VeryDarkMan has accused Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke of maintaining ties with the All Progressives Congress (APC), alleging that his reported support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid raises questions about his political allegiance.

The activist made the allegations in a video posted on his official Instagram account on Thursday, following reports that Adeleke had become the Osun State coordinator of the City Boy Movement, a group campaigning in support of Tinubu.

VDM claimed the development supported his earlier assertion that the governor was politically aligned with the APC, despite contesting the Osun governorship election under the Accord Party.

“Davido’s uncle Governor Ademola Adeleke finally came out to throw his weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Adeleke is now the coordinator for City Boy in Osun State, so basically what that means is that there is nothing that can happen to Osun State, even if Osun State people vote against tinubu, Ademola Adeleke is going to manipulate the numbers and make sure Tinubu wins.

“Going back to my old video, remember I said this man is an APC puppet, you see this election that happened in Osun State. If you remember Ademola Adeleke is candidate of Accord Party, then another candidate for APC and ADC, now you see that fight between Ademola Adeleke of Accord party and APC, it’s not what it seemed.

“It is the more you look the less you see, Ademola Adeleke has always been an APC, so that election was a primary election but to the general public it was a general gubernatorial election.

“The only reason he did not come out was because election was approaching and Nigerians will not vote for APC. That election in Osun was APC versus APC and Davido knew.

VDM further alleged that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, contacted Adeleke before and after the governorship election, claiming that the governor was encouraged to present his Certificate of Return to Tinubu and thank the president.

“All those tweets Davido was making, he was trying to emotionally blackmail people in the state.

The activist’s comments also targeted Afrobeats star Davido, Adeleke’s nephew, whom he accused of attempting to influence public opinion in Osun State through his social media posts.

VDM’s claims about Adeleke’s political allegiance, the alleged manipulation of election results and Davido’s intentions remain allegations made by the activist in the video.
