The son of late Chief Hon. Dom Ogakwu Snr, an illustrious son of Adachi in Gakem, Bekwarra LGA, Cross River State, Comrade Ogakwu is the president of a civil society coalition under the aegis of Civil Society Groups for Good Governance and publisher of CSONEWSWATCH, CSONews24 and he is adjudged to be highly versatile.

A graduate of geography and regional planning from the prestigious university of Calabar and a post graduate diploma in Journalism from the world acclaimed International Institute of Journalism, Ogakwu is nationally acknowledged as a philanthropist, politician, patriot, public speaker and social crusader who is well respected by all and sundry.
