Kebbi ADC Names Former Deputy Speaker Sani Tadurga Campaign DG for 2027 Elections

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State has appointed former Deputy Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Sani Tadurga, to lead its campaign council ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Tadurga will serve as Director-General of the Kebbi State Campaign Council, following the approval of his appointment by the party’s governorship candidate, Abubakar Malami, SAN.

The party said the decision followed consultations with key stakeholders across the state as it moves to build its political machinery ahead of the polls.

Three other party chieftains were appointed as Deputy Directors-General, with each assigned to coordinate activities within one of Kebbi State’s three senatorial districts.

Arch. Bala Sani Kangiwa was named Deputy Director-General for Kebbi North, while Hon. Shehu Aliyu Sambawa will oversee Kebbi Central. Alh. Aliyu Jibrin Bagaruwa was appointed to the same position for Kebbi South.

Barr. Aminu Bunza will serve as Secretary of the Kebbi State Campaign Council.

According to the ADC, the appointments are part of efforts to establish a more effective campaign framework, improve coordination among party structures and deepen its engagement with voters across the state.

The party said the newly appointed officials would draw on their political experience, leadership capacity and grassroots connections to mobilise support for the ADC and strengthen its presence ahead of the 2027 elections.

It urged the appointees to carry out their respective assignments with commitment, unity and dedication as political activities gather momentum ahead of the elections.
