Troops Nab Suspect Linked to Naridon Village Attack in Kaduna
Troops of Sector 3, Operation Enduring Peace, have arrested a 48-year-old man suspected of involvement in the recent attack on Naridon Village in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The suspect, identified as Salihu Miakailu, was arrested at about 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, during an intelligence-led operation at his residence in Dutsen Kura Village, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that Miakailu is being investigated over his alleged involvement in the attack on Naridon Village on July 27.
The suspect is currently in military custody and is undergoing interrogation as security operatives work to establish the extent of his alleged involvement and identify other persons who may have participated in the attack.
The arrest is part of ongoing operations by troops of Operation Enduring Peace to track and apprehend individuals linked to violent attacks in Plateau and neighbouring Kaduna State.
Security forces are continuing intelligence-led operations aimed at identifying and bringing all those responsible for the attack to justice.
