The Civil Society Groups for Good Governance (CSGGG) and Integrity Advocacy for Development Initiative (IADI) have defended projects and empowerment programmes facilitated by Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola in Ogun West and other locations, saying their independent monitoring visits found physical evidence of executed interventions. The groups said their assessments covered roads, schools, electricity, healthcare facilities and empowerment initiatives involving traders, artisans, farmers, youths and students.
Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday, the groups said allegations of non-execution, diversion of funds, procurement violations or personal financial benefit should be tested against verifiable records rather than political narratives. They stressed that their position was not intended to shield Adeola from scrutiny, but to insist that claims concerning public projects be supported by evidence, while making their monitoring reports, photographs and field observations available for examination.
The group also made available documents Xraying Sen. Yayi’s scorecard as he goes for ogun state gubernatorial seat
