Nigerian singer, Olawale Ashimi, popularly known as Brymo, has said fellow artiste Burna Boy must pay for offending him, as he revisited their long-running feud during a recent interview.
Speaking on the Notjustok podcast, Brymo reflected on the disagreement between the two musicians, which began in 2023 after he alleged that Burna Boy borrowed ideas from his work.
In response, Burna Boy released a freestyle containing the now-viral lyric, “hustle make you no go fall off like Brymo.”
During the interview, Brymo said he still believes Burna Boy wronged him and insisted he intends to get revenge.
He also dismissed concerns about any group or fraternity Burna Boy may be associated with, saying it would not stop him from responding.
“Your name no go ever appears for my song for life. You’re too small, who is your mate? I don’t care what fraternity you belong to. He has wronged me and I must take revenge,” he said.
